In January of 2024, a church member shared with me that she had been through deliverance and talked openly about her experience and how freeing it was for her. My husband and I felt very called to a mission trip to Honduras and thought that it would be best if we took an honest look at our own hearts. We decided to give Pam York a call. She responded promptly and put us on her schedule.

We decided to spend time in prayer over the weekend at the lake. We prayed about forgiving anything that we might be holding onto. We prayed about things from our past that may be affecting our current heart posture or our thought processes and we filled out the paperwork to meet with Pam.

During that time, the Lord placed it on our hearts to fast until the mission. We began the Daniel fast the next day.

The day came to meet with Pam and to be completely honest we were rather new to deliverance and had no idea what all was being removed, but we wanted to be free of anything that could hinder our relationship with the Lord.

We took turns but stayed together during the process. We prayed for each other as we had deliverance and experienced freedom.

Pam stayed for as long as it took. I will be honest. Things were removed that I had never heard of.

We both were tired afterwards and remained at a hotel for the night.

We could not believe how "quiet" our thoughts were. How at peace we felt. It was freedom. We both experienced a full day of this very intense quiet, but the next day at church, the Lord returned speaking and pouring out His warmth and love. We were so very clear and could hear His voice. This was a life changing experience for both of us.

Some of our time at Pam's was spent doing some inner healing as well. I would not hesitate to continue the journey of inner healing or deliverance in the future.

Since this journey, we have continued to learn about how to remain and walk in freedom.
